At Lothamer Dental Laboratory our goal is to provide our customers with high-quality products coupled with excellent customer service. It is the pride, dedication, and experience of our team that has allowed this goal to become a reality.
Keith
Owner
Keith has been in the dental field for 23 years and had the great opportunity to take ownership of Lothamer Dental Lab in 2010. He handles the overall management of the laboratory, human resources, sales, and marketing functions.
Keith has lived in Dryden for the past 23 years with his wife Gina and their daughter Rachael. When not involved in the laboratory he enjoys going up north with family and friends to their cottage in Gladwin, being outside in the sun and he is an avid golfer.
Gary
Number of Years in the Business: 46 years
Number of Years at Lothamer: 44 years
Different Functions within the lab that you’re trained in: Gary has been a technician for 42 years, 39 of those with us. In time, he has developed a very diversified skillset. He is able to perform several functions within the lab including: models, metal casting, finishing and polishing. He also presses and finishes Empress and Max along with scanning, milling, finishing, staining, and designing Zirconia. His knowledge of several departments has made him a valuable member of our team.
Interests Outside the lab: Gary enjoys videography and spending time with his grandchildren.
Personal life: Gary has been married to his wife Earline for 39 years. He has two daughters and four grandchildren.
Brenda
Brenda actually has two homes, Metamora where she lives with her long time significant other Dave, and her two puppies Lola and Rico. Her second home is here at Lothamer lab where she has been for her entire 37-year career, beginning in 1980, (and yes that does mean she started at 6).
She has been lab manager since 2001 and is our main communication link to our doctors. Brenda also waxes crowns and diagnostics, makes all of our temporary crowns and handles all of our implants.
She enjoys anything outdoors that is warm weather related or on the water, gardening, cooking and entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
Ty
Ty has 27 years of experience in the laboratory business, all of them with Lothamer Dental Laboratory. He is well versed in all aspects of the lab. He began his career in 1997 in the model room and since then he has waxed, invested, finished, and for a long time was our porcelain technician. Currently, Ty scans and designs all of our zirconia copings and full contour zirconia crowns.
Ty has been married to his wife Amy for 11 years and currently resides with her and their two children in Otisville. When not fabricating beautiful restorations he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and exercising. He also enjoys watching both of his children participate in youth sports.
Mike
Mike has been a laboratory technician for 40 years and with our laboratory for 1.5 years. He is currently our denture finisher and does packing and investing. He is also trained in set-ups, relines/repairs, and implant cases. He is also trained in crown and bridge and spent 13 years as a ceramist. Mike is single and enjoys music, fishing, playing guitar, sportscars, cooking, and spending time with family.
Ralph
Ralph has been in the laboratory business for 39 years and part of our team for 8. He is currently our ceramist and also does shading/staining of our full contour zirconium crowns.
Ralph married and has two children and two grandchildren. He lives in Clio with his wife Patricia. Outside of work Ralph enjoys watching sports and listening to music.
Autumn
Autumn was a dental assistant for 15 years before joining Lothamer in 2014. She is currently our model technician.
She lives in Davison with her two lovely children, Faith who attends Oakland University and her son Jackson. Outside of the laboratory Autumn enjoys movies and reading.
Tori
Tori has 3.5 years of laboratory experience and is the newest member of our team, joining us just 6 months ago. Her main functions include models, baseplates and bite rims, making comfort splints, bleaching trays and essix containers. Her interests outside the lab include spending time outdoors, hiking, arts & crafts, and spending time up North. She loves sports and is an avid Tigers fan. She has 2 dogs, Frank and Billie.
Tawnya
Tawnya joined us as on office assistant in 2015. She assists with shipping and receiving, filing and general office duties.
Tawnya is single and has no children, but does have a cat name Shemar, and she is looking to add a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel someday. She is obviously an animal lover and in her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
Jay
Jay has been part of the laboratory business for 14 years and has been with us since 2013. He is part of our customer service team doing daily pick-ups and deliveries.
He currently resides in Flint. He is the father of two boys and spends much of his time attending their sporting activities.
Mark
Mark joined us in 2015 after a 35-year career in the health insurance industry. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University.
He is part of our customer service team doing daily pick-ups and deliveries.
He is a current resident of Burton. He comes from a relatively small family, himself and his two sisters. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and golf.

Different Functions within the lab that you’re trained in: Pouring up models, model work, bite splints, and setups. Model work, splints, denture setups.
Interests Outside the lab: Camping, hunting, kayaking, and gardening
Personal life: Married for two years, dog named Mixie
Miranda
Miranda is new to the laboratory business and has been with us for 1.5 years. She began in the model room making baseplates and bite rims. She is now trained in investing, packing, and boiling out dentures. She also wases and finishes biteplates and is currently in the process of training to set up partials and dentures. Outside of the workplace she enjoys drawing and painting, camping, gardening, puzzles, disc golf, and photography. She has plenty of pets to keep her busy including 2 dogs, Murphey and Ollie, a cat named Jonsey, a guinea pig named Penelope, and plenty of ducks and chickens.
Belinda
Belinda is also new to the laboratory business and has been with us for 1 year. She handles all of the receiption duties and shipping & receiving. She is generally the first person you speak to when calling the lab. She has been married to her husband for 32 years and has 2 children and 2 dogs.
Caleb

Different Functions within the lab that you’re trained in: Crown & bridge design, 3D scans, 3D printing, and crown & bridge milling
Interests Outside the lab: Art, music, & YouTube content creation
Personal life: I live in Burton, Michigan with my family
